SALTEX returns to the NEC Birmingham on 11–12 November 2026 for a landmark celebration: the 80th edition of Europe’s premier grounds management exhibition.
Organised by the Grounds Management Association (GMA), SALTEX has been bringing the industry together since 1938. Eight decades on, it remains a vital meeting place for the people who manage, maintain and shape outdoor spaces across professional and community sport, education, local authorities, landscaping, estates, golf, leisure destinations and the wider amenity sector.
Under the theme “Rooted in History. Driving Progress.”, SALTEX 2026 will celebrate the people, machinery and innovation that have shaped the industry, while firmly looking ahead to its future. Visitors can meet leading manufacturers and suppliers, discover new products and technology, compare practical solutions and speak directly with the experts behind them.
Learning remains at the heart of the event. SALTEX will deliver 30 hours of free CPD education through its Learning LIVE programme, featuring 79 expert speakers and sessions designed to provide practical, relevant insight that attendees can take back into their roles. Alongside the seminar programme, visitors can expect an increasingly hands-on show experience, with machinery, live demonstrations and opportunities to see equipment and techniques in action.
SALTEX is also where the wider grounds community comes together. From experienced industry leaders to volunteers and the next generation entering the profession, the event creates opportunities to exchange ideas, build connections and learn from others facing similar challenges.
The show welcomed 7,463 grounds people at its previous edition, demonstrating the breadth and strength of the community it serves. Crucially, SALTEX is organised by the GMA, a not-for-profit membership organisation. Revenue generated through the event is reinvested into the sector, supporting education, training, research and advocacy for the grounds workforce.
The exhibition provides a rare chance to compare solutions under one roof, ask detailed questions, strengthen supplier relationships and discover ideas spanning turf care, machinery, sustainability, workforce development, technology, facilities and long-term management of outdoor spaces.
Free visitor parking will return for 2026, helping make the event even more accessible for professionals and volunteers travelling to Birmingham.
