Phoenix is an Alternative Provision for children and young people aged 5 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. At Phoenix, we provide a natural setting, high staff ratios, and a therapeutic approach that prioritises regulation, relationships and readiness to learn.
Because every child is unique, our provision is genuinely bespoke. We don’t try to fit children into a pre-designed programme. Instead, we build personalised packages around them. We work closely with schools, key workers, parents and, most importantly - the child themselves. This collaborative approach allows us to reframe learning around a child’s strengths and potential, helping them experience success in a way that is meaningful and sustainable.
Phoenix is not about forcing square pegs into round holes. It is a relevant, pragmatic alternative to traditional learning environments. Our whole-child approach supports academic progress while also developing practical life skills, social confidence and real-world understanding. We help young people build the resilience and self-belief they need to become valued members of their families, schools and communities.
Our goal is simple:
To help every child rise, transform and grow.
