Nadhim Zahawi to give opening keynote at Bett 2022

Bett 2022 has announced that Education Secretary, Nadhim Zahawi, will be opening the show on Wednesday 23 March at the London ExCeL Centre with an exclusive keynote address.

In previous years at Bett, Education Secretaries and ministers have announced everything from new data tracking academic attainment, discussed the implications of wider social challenges facing the education industry such as cracking down on cyberbullying and new Govt. initiatives like the investment in broadband for schools live on site.

What's more, major names from across the education and technology space will be attending, exhibiting and speaking at the event. Compelling content will also be presented and interviews will be available upon request from speakers including Sally Phillips, Comic Actress and Writer who will discuss SEND and inclusion in education, Baasit Siddiqui, Gogglebox cast member and Director of Siddiqui Education will explore the benefits of schools and business collaborating for children, and Dame Darcey Bussell, ex-Prima Ballerina and founder of DDMIX who will share the benefits of dance fitness for student wellbeing.
