Teachers urged to take part in #NakedTeachingDay

Teachers are being urged to take part in #NakedTeachingDay and teach their pupils without any classroom resources.
The campaign is organised by the World Wide Education Project and challenges teachers to ‘teach naked’ without resources such as worksheets, whiteboards, textbooks and even pens.
#NakedTeachingDay is designed to raise awareness of the plight of children from less developed countries who attend makeshift schools in slums, refugee camps etc.
It is taking place on Friday 30 September and teachers can visit www.nakedteaching.org for more information on how to get involved.
A creative careers programme which aims to inspire young people to explore careers across the creative industries has reached 210,000 young people since 2023.
The government is inviting EdTech companies and AI labs to develop AI tutoring tools, in collaboration with teachers, to ensure they support classroom practice.
