Oxfordshire Council invests £1.1 million to increase uptake of free school meals

The County currently has the third lowest uptake the in country for four to seven year olds since all infant school pupils became eligible for free meals last year.
The Council is working with more than 90 schools to increase uptake, with half the money contributing towards new kitchen facilities at Woodstock CE School and Clanfield Church of England Primary School.
