Free resources to help teachers support young peoples' mental health

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England is launching a new set of free resources, designed to help teachers support young people aged 8 to 24 with their mental wellbeing.
The #HandsUp4HealthyMinds toolkit, which can also be used by tutors and parents/carers, can help professionals better understand youth mental health and offer support. It includes guidance on self-care, stress and talking tips and further resources to support young people’s mental health.
World Mental Health Day takes place on 10 October every year to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilise efforts in support of mental health. This year’s theme is young people and mental health in a changing world.
