Education Business is delighted to announce that entries for its annual awards are now open.
Now in its 17th year, the Education Business Awards continue to recognise and celebrate the outstanding work, dedication, and achievements of schools and academies across the UK.
Taking place on 26 March at the iconic Old Billingsgate in London, alongside Education Business LIVE, the awards shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of education, celebrating excellence across every aspect of school life.
The awards recognise a wide range of categories, including leadership, outstanding progress, and EdTech provision, as well as innovation in educational products and services. Additional honours will be presented to those demonstrating excellence in areas such as catering, environmental achievement, school buildings, SEND provision, and much more.
Entry is free of charge - simply submit a 500-word entry statement. Shortlisted organisations will receive two complimentary tickets to the awards ceremony, including drinks reception and a complimentary brunch at Education Business LIVE.
New training to empower school staff to improve mental health and wellbeing support for neurodivergent students has been launched by Anna Freud, a mental health charity transforming care for children and young people.
Data from BAE Systems’ annual Apprenticeship Barometer found that 63% of parents said they would prefer their child to choose an apprenticeship over a degree after school.
The work builds on guidance launched by Cardiff Council in autumn 2025, which provides clear and practical advice for schools responding to incidents where weapons are brought onto school premises.
