Stephen Morgan appointed shadow schools minister

Labour MP Stephen Morgan has been named as the new shadow schools minister following Labour's reshuffle.
Stephen Morgan tweeted: "I look forward to working with parents, teachers and children to give our all children the best start in life, as Labour’s new Schools Minister."
Helen Hayes has also been appointed as shadow children’s minister, she replaces Tulip Siddiq, who has a new job in the shadow Treasury team.
The appointments complete the shadow education team, now led by Bridget Phillipson, who replaced Kate Green as shadow education secretary.
