New way for childcare providers to flag significant events
EB News: 05/01/2021 - 08:13
From the end of January 2021, childminders, nurseries and all other childcare providers must use an online notification form to tell Ofsted about significant events and no longer use phone or email.
When notifying Ofsted using this form, schools will need to have to hand their unique reference number (URN), the childcare address and details of the incident and details of those involved.
Ofsted will confirm receipt of the information and schools can also download a copy for their records.
A new survey by the British Council has revealed that more than two thirds (67%) of primary school age children say they would like to spend more time at school learning a language.
Forty-four per cent of education professionals are unfamiliar with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, otherwise known as Martyn’s Law, according to new research.
