The Department for Education (DfE) has updated its wraparound care guidance, suggesting schools should give parents termly windows to request childcare.

The out of school clubs will help tackle the social isolation experienced by some children during the school holiday that can have a negative impact on learning and wellbeing.

All registered childcare properties will have 100% rates relief, which is estimated to provide £7.5m of additional support to childcare providers over three years.
