Mobile Cricket Covers
Stuart Canvas is the leading supplier of Mobile Cricket Covers in the UK.  Over the last 25 years, we have designed and manufactured high-quality covers, for every first-class County Ground as well as many leading Clubs and Schools in the UK.

Over the last 25 years we have listened to the suggestions from club, school and county ground staff and have worked to change and improve our design to ensure that today our mobile covers are some of the best on the market.

Flat Sheets
Test Flat Sheet -  Manufactured from a 350gsm textile reinforced PVC and designed to let in light without ‘burning’ the grass, whilst being treated to withstand damage by fungicides and bactericides.

Pro Tech Flat Sheet- Manufactured from lightweight 190gsm UV stabilised material. Which is easy to handle with a minimum of ground staff required The breathable cover allows sunlight through while maintaining a constant temperature underneath the surface. This reduces the amount of condensation formed and promotes grass growth.

Classic Flat Sheet- The Classic Cricket is a semi-translucent cover that is designed to allow sunlight through the cover to the grass pitch underneath, thus prolonging the life of the cricket square. The cover is made from textile reinforced PVC with a weight of 350gsm. This gives the Classic Flat Sheet added durability and longevity.  

County Flat Sheet -  Our county flat sheets are manufactured from a 250gsm lightweight, semi-translucent material. Each sheet features grab handles every 15’ and eyelets every 5’. They are ideal for stand alone flat sheets or as side sheets and bowlers’ run-up sheets when attached to mobile covers.

Sight Screens
Polypropylene Sightscreen- Can easily be moved by one person, therefore making it easier for ground staff and players alike. They may easily be dismantled for winter storage. We offer a full delivery and installation service direct to grounds anywhere in the Country.

Rotating Black & White Mesh Sight Screen- Designed by Stuart Canvas to provide a cost-effective solution that allows venues to play both red & white ball cricket. The innovative screen features an easy and simple rotating mechanism that allows for a quick change from white to black. The mesh screen allows wind to pass through the screen and can be fully retracted when not in use.

Scoreboards
We can offer a range of electronic scoreboards with different functions. All our scoreboards can be operated from a wireless radio remote control unit, from anywhere on the cricket ground. The LCD remote features a screen which shows the current scores, allowing it to be used in locations where the scoreboard isn’t visible.

Our scoreboards use bright LED technology allowing them to be easily read from a distance. We offer five standard cricket scoreboards with 9, 15, 15xl ,19 & 22 digits.  We can also offer bespoke options and scoreboard refurbishments.

Batting Cages
The County Cricket Batting Cage allows for both batting and bowling practice to take place on traditional or synthetic wickets.  The batting cage can be easily moved by two people thanks to its large caster wheels.  Once in place, the cage can be locked into place using simple pegs.

The County Batting Cage is 7.5m long x 3.6m wide (not including wheels) x 3m high , complete with 4 front swivels & 2 rear fixed puncture-proof wheels for ease of use.

The cage is robust and manufactured from galvanised box section steel.

Indoor Sports Hall Netting
Our retractable indoor cricket netting & sports hall multipurpose divider netting are designed to reduce the space needed for indoor sports practice, as they can be safely retracted and stored to keep out of the way when not in use. This makes them ideal and convenient for use in school sports halls and leisure centers.

At Stuart Canvas we produce and install custom-made indoor netting to the customers’ requirements.  We can add integrated fabric sightscreens to the mesh netting to provide a complete netting system for both bowlers and batters.  Our nets are designed to absorb the high impact of cricket balls to create a safe area for indoor practice for players and spectators.

Ball Stop Netting
Stuart Canvas can provide ball stop netting systems that are ideal for cricket, football and other ball sports. We use high quality netting that can absorb the high impact that comes from ball sports .

We can create a bespoke solution from low-level netting to prevent the loss of balls to high-level housing protection netting. We can supply complete systems, including; design, steelwork, netting & installation. If you have an existing system, we can offer new netting and refurbishments.

Our Tennis Product Range:
Tennis Debris Court Covers -  Are ideal for use in the autumn and winter to prevent leaves, twigs and other natural debris from being deposited on your hard court surface. By protecting the playing surface you are also prolonging the life of the court by preventing moss and weeds from developing.

A debris cover can be applied by just one person in a matter of minutes, and can easily be stored by the side of the court. A small investment in a debris cover will add years to the life of your court.

Windbreaks
Stuart Canvas has been manufacturing tennis windbreaks and tennis screens for many years. The screens are ideal for home or club use and can be made to measure to your exact requirements. Depending on requirements, we can manufacture the Tennis Windbreaks from anything from a rot-proof canvas to a polypropylene material. These also act as shading for the court and players.

Umpire Chairs
The Championship Wooden Umpire Chair - This chair is as used at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. The chairs comes with the umpires tray, saw dust box, wheels and axles and all made from the same wood as per the Championships Chairs.  The chair is made from Redwood and measures 2.7m high by 1.46m deep.

Nets
Stuart Canvas Ltd can supply net posts, nets, centre bands, single sticks & measuring sticks in whatever volume you require. We offer both single and double nets and there are a variety to choose from. We offer vinyl, cotton and polyester headbands in either 2.5mm, 3mm or 3.5mm. All the nets are made from polyethylene.

Indoor Court Backdrops
Here at Stuart Canvas we can provide tennis indoor backdrops for indoor tennis centres, after an initial site visit, we can remove the old backdrops and measure, manufacture and install your new backdrops.

We would firstly come and undertake a site visit to discuss your requirements and make suggestions.  We would then measure and supply a full quote.  Upon contract reward we would then supply CAD drawings of the layout and sizes.
