Free teaching resources on Brexit for secondary schools
EB News: 24/01/2017 - 10:44
The Bar Council and the Citizenship Foundation have developed free resources to teach pupils about Brexit
New citizenship lessons will help to educate secondary school pupils about the judiciary's role in the democratic process.
The Bar Council said that the lessons were created after it heard that schools had been struggling to find ways to discuss the high-profile case with students.
The resources are free of charge to every secondary school in the UK.
A new survey by the British Council has revealed that more than two thirds (67%) of primary school age children say they would like to spend more time at school learning a language.
Forty-four per cent of education professionals are unfamiliar with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, otherwise known as Martyn’s Law, according to new research.
