First Class Education’s Head of Education and Training, Peter Cobrin, gets really excited about their new programme for primary and secondary schools across London and the south-east.
Year Group Bonding for Y7
The start of secondary school is a challenging time for many young people, new routines, new friends and a longer school day. Many schools have found the introduction of Team Bonding Days or residentials assist in this transition period. Oaker Wood Leisure in Herefordshire specialise in Team Development days and residentials for this age group. With 2 Glamping Villages the site can sleep up to 150 and so can be booked exclusively for your school.
Accommodation is in wooden pods and each village has its own fire circle, barbecue hut, dining area, showers and toilets.
Team Building activities including Raft Building, High Ropes Challenges, Zip Wire, Climbing, Assault Courses and Paintball are all on site so no time consuming transfers between activities.
“Excitement reached fever-pitch as we drew the coaches into the magnificent woods at Oaker Wood Leisure for two days of team-building for the new Year 7 students. Fantastic quality, amazing staff, wonderful environment. We can't recommend it highly enough!” Julian Wharam, Earl Mortimer College.
Oaker Wood can also bring Team Building direct to your school, cutting down on expensive coach costs. Total Wipe Out and It’s a Knock Out style Inflatable Assault courses combined with a range of Team Building Challenges.
