So how can Voice help you?
Advice – Voice is available to offer members support on a range of workplace-related issues and topics. We ensure they have access to easy to understand information to ensure they know their rights and responsibilities in their workplace. Whatever a member’s query, Voice’s team of advisers are just a phone call away.
Representation – if members need hands-on support in resolving their issues, Voice is there to represent them. We’re able to liaise on members’ behalf with employers to resolve concerns, address problems and reach mutually satisfactory conclusions. We support members who have been called to a disciplinary, represent the interests of those at risk of redundancy, and help resolve concerns about working conditions, amongst other things.
On your behalf – Voice’s team are engaged in discussions at national and local level designed to help secure the best environment and recognition for our members. We represent our members in discussions with national governments and organisations to help secure better pay, safer working environments, increased funding, and ensure new initiatives have achievable targets and timeframes.
Guidance – we offer a library of resources that can help outline our members’ statutory rights in the workplace or help them understand their employer’s responsibilities to them. Information available ranges from outlining maternity leave entitlements, performance management expectations, school security requirements you and your employer should take into consideration, to guidance on topics like tackling work-related stress and advice on back and vocal care.
Cost-savings – we offer members access to our Voice Rewards programme of discounts and offers to help them make savings on their work and personal expenses. Offers include the everyday expenses like groceries, as well as big ticket items like a new car, holidays or family days out.
