The World Rugby Museum welcomes several thousand school children each year. School groups are offered a combination of three separate activities.
Stadium Tour: a behind the scenes look into the workings of this modern professional sports venue.
World Rugby Museum: an in depth at the roots and culture of the global game.
Workshop or Seminar: providing a hands-on learning experience, or the opportunity to discuss the ins and outs of the Rugby Football Union and Twickenham Stadium with a professional in the field.
World Rugby Museum: Twickenham is home to the World Rugby Museum, the finest collection of rugby memorabilia in the world. The Museum takes visitors through the sports history from its origins to the present day, it is an inspirational journey through the global development of rugby union with innovative, interactive exhibits that bring to life some of the great moments of the international game.
Stadium tour: A tour of Twickenham Stadium is a fantastic way to discover more about the iconic home of England Rugby. Highly knowledgeable guides will take you around the venue, highlights include the Royal Box, hospitality suites, medical room, England dressing room, players’ tunnel and a breath taking view of the stadium bowl from the top of the stand, there’s no better way to see the how the stadium has evolved over the last 100 years.
Workshops and Seminars: The World Rugby Museum's Workshops and Seminars programme received the Sandford Award for Heritage Education in 2010 and the Quality Badge for Learning Outside the Classroom in 2009 and 2011.
Designed around the national curriculum the programme turns a corporate box into a classroom.
