On Wednesday 28th June, the Southern Education & Academies Show (SEAS) takes place at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre in Hampshire, bringing together schools from across Southern England for a full day of networking, sharing ideas and learning. This exciting and innovative regional event features a high-level conference, inspirational workshops and a comprehensive exhibition of leading suppliers of key services for schools, colleges and academies.
Supported by key county council services from Hampshire, Surrey and East Sussex, all schools in the region are encouraged to send at least one representative to the event, as a productive way to end the current academic year and plan for the next chapter of your school’s evolution.

Darcey Bussell CBE will be advocating dance fitness in schools during her afternoon keynote talk.
As the former Principal Dancer with The Royal Ballet and one of the most famous British dancers of all time, Darcey now uses her unique experience and expertise to advocate for dance fitness in the PE curriculum that will benefit not only the individual child but the whole school, making a major impact on the whole education system and the health of future generations.
The opening keynote will be provided by the charismatic principal of Passmores Academy, Vic Goddard, who came to the nation’s attention in TV’s ‘Educating Essex.’ Vic’s talk will provide an optimistic reminder of why being a teacher can still be “The Best Job in the World” despite its many challenges.
A visit to SEAS 2017 is out of this world when you step into the Winchester Science Centre’s pop-up planetarium and gazing at night sky will provide an immersive and unforgettable experience. The Tablet Academy will be demonstrating a variety of STEM solutions including robotics and Virtual Reality in the classroom.
