Techniquest: Sensational science every day
 Techniquest, the science education charity based in Cardiff Bay, was one of the first hands-on science centres to offer programmes for schools. It’s still as popular as ever, with a changing programme to support the national curriculum.
The main exhibition is a place where children learn without realising, where the inquisitive mind can explore, and where getting stuck in, hands on and involved is positively encouraged. Which of the 120 exhibits will attract your pupils first? How quickly will they fly a hydrogen rocket? And can they put a body back together?
Pupils can experience the night sky at any time of day in the planetarium. How many stars will they count in the sky? Which planets will they spot?
There are shows and demonstrations covering specific themes in the science theatre: What will wow you the most? What will it lead to?
