Quality furniture created for your school
 Established in 1945 by Fredrick Corner, Ness furniture was developed on sound engineering principles. Based in the North East of England within a few miles of Durham City, we design and manufacture contract quality desking, seating, table, storage and screens. We employ over 180 people at our two main factories, which have over 15,000 sq metres of joinery, upholstery, coating and distribution. We have our own large fleet of delivery vehicles including small vans, rigid and articulated wagons.
We design and manufacture furniture suitable for use in virtually all departments within a school, college or university – including reception areas, classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, refectory, break out areas, library, hall, staff and student common rooms, conference rooms and IT classrooms.
Our Space Planning service:
We currently use AutoCAD 2000 and have a design team under the supervision of our Design Manager. Our sales team can take a design brief from you and conduct a site survey. You can send us your own scaled sketch or drawing with your ideas or e-mail/ISDN your plans directly to our design team. We can create 2D layouts with equipment lists, 3D perspective views and 3D rendered views on suitable projects.
