Education Business

Tangent Projects Ltd
Tangent Projects Ltd is a principal contractor.

It is an owner-managed company and the directors are closely involved with every project.  No salespersons are employed and we enjoy a very high level of repeat business.  The company is committed to providing an excellent response to the requirements of the Partnerships for Schools (PfS) and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programmes.

Typical projects are to refurbish, alter and fit-out buildings in the south-east of England, often delivering a completely redesigned building using an existing structure.  A summary of our services appears below.

As principal contractor, Tangent Projects can undertake all parts of a client’s project from concept, through site works to handover and beyond.  Through this format, a client or client’s agent has one point of contact for procurement of the entire contract works.  Tangent Projects then undertakes and manages all associated trades (and consultants, dependent on contract format).  Works are completed carefully, quickly and properly at all times.

Tangent Projects’ Scope of Works documents are always clear and concise, with all elements precisely itemised.  This allows value-engineering if necessary before the works start and gives you control of your budget if you require variations.

A rapid response to all situations is enabled by the reduced and focussed hierarchy of communication.  The company’s directors work with and support our client to identify the budget, scope, specification of works and programme that is right  - and then stick to it.
